Rethinking Evaluation and Assessment in Online and Blended Learning Environments

During this open session, we will explore methods for evaluating courses and programs that use and integrate online technology for teaching and learning. Dr. Anthony Picciano, Professor and Executive Officer of the PhD program in Urban Education, will discuss the challenges and opportunities that online learning modalities provide. Specific issues related to learning goals and objectives, instructional interactions, the use of social media and collaborative learning, adaptive learning, and learning analytics will be presented.
